Judging from the reaction I received to this column in the last issue, there is alot of miscellaneous information floating around that just isn't large enough to command its own article or isn't an article but is important enough to share.

I am including a number of submissions from a wide range of sources. If you've got any news or information that you would like to share, please drop me a line via the hotline (see page 3) or the BBS (also on page 3).

Israel Stern spotted in Long Beach

MITI Integrates Graphic Development Tool from Soft-Tek International into SQR

MITI recently announced plans to enhance the graphical reporting functionality of SQR through the integration of a graphic development tool, called GRAFSMAN, from Soft-Tek International.

Upon integration of the GRAFSMAN package, SQR users will be able to display query resultsas pie charts, bar charts, histograms, scatter diagrams, and connected-point plots. This enhancement will also enable charts to be displayed on-screen or included as part of the printed reports, providing a graphical representation of the data to complement the textual presentation. [Editor's note: Please see the sample on page 4]
