Re: SQR Error 5528

This indicates that your server is expecting a different date format
than your client. Very possibly you have a -zif parameter on your
client pointing to an .INI file that is setting NLS-DATE-FORMAT to one
value, while either it doesn't exist or is different on the server.

The -zif parameter is new to SQR4, btw. Put a display ahead of the date
function that is causing the error and view the difference in the
appearance of the native date format between the client and the server.

Hello SQR Users,

I was wondering if perhaps someone would be able to help me. We have
recently upgraded to SQR 4 from SQR3. I have an SQR that has run
successfully on the server for the last 5 months. Since we upgraded, I
can run it on the client successfully but if I run it on the server I
get the following error:
(SQR 5528) ORACLE OFEN error 1830 in cursor 2:
ORA-01830: date format picture ends before converting entire input
string

Error on line 418:
(SQR 3725) Bad return fetching row from database.

Has anyone experienced anything similar? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Kathy
