MICR Printing reply

(Apologies if some of you see this twice. I didn't, so I presume my
original attempt to post it failed...)

The most common solution I've seen is getting DIMM/SIMM add ons to the
printer which have the printer font, as well as signatures and logos if
needed. With SQR you are better off using printer fonts then attempting
to utilize any true type fonts.
There is a company in Irvine, California called Capella Technologies
that provides these DIMM/SIMM modules for most HP printers. Their
number is 949-597-0402. They are very familiar with SQR requirements,
including the PeopleSoft specific SQR's.-- Original Message As Follows

A while back there was some discussion on this list about printing
MICRon
checks. There was a suggestion to get MICR true-type font installed. I
have
contacted HP about getting the true-type font and they said it is not
available from them - but the rep mentioned that several customers had
mentioned that they were using a true-type font and that they wereusing
PeopleSoft. Those who had mentioned that you had the true-type font
installed, would you mind telling me where you got it?Kathy
