Re: SQRW

The only way a program knows it has been run from Process Scheduler
rather than the SQRW icon is by the presence of a value in
$prcs_process_instance. This is of no value to you at begin-setup.

You could try using #debug. Put your schema setup in a #debugz line
and whenever executing from SQRW execute with a -debugz parameter.

The reason for this is that Process Scheduler logs in with the owner
id, in your case PSUSYS, whereas your developers are obviously logging
in with individual id's. The common and easy way solution is to allow
developers to execute using the PSUSYS id. Another high maintenance
approach is to use synonyms, so that developers using their id's see
"PSUSYS.PS_JOB" as "PS_JOB".

Hi,

We are developing SQR's for Peoplesoft on UDB/AIX environment.
During development, when we test the SQR from SQRW we need to specify
the
schema in begin-setup so that tables are automatically named with
schema
like "PSUSYS.PS_JOB" in begin-select. But the same SQR without the
begin-setup can be run from Process scheduler without any problem. I
would
like to know is there any flags or setup in the SQRW where we can
define the
schema instead of doing it inside SQR and removing it once developed.
Thanks.
