Re: Creating EXCEL files with Visual SQRIBE.?

Hi Per

The method we use to view report data through Excel is to create .csv files.
This is done by opening a blank flat file through SQRIBE with the extension
csv. Write the relevant data to the file delimiting the fields with commas.
This can then be read by Excel.

Hope this helps,
Michael

Subject: Creating EXCEL files with Visual SQRIBE.?

Hello!

I'm new on this forum and I therefore hope that I wont pose the
questions already asked "n" number of times...

However, this question must have been asked before.

I'm doing some research for a project that is not yet realized but
might be. When examining the needs of the client I found that they
need their reports in EXCEL format. I did not think this was possible
to do "directly" with the help of Visual Sqribe, but they seem to
insist on this matter. I'll find out how this is done, but would like
to know if any of You have experiences already made on this. Is there
an easy way in?

Hope You can help me even though this isn't a very precise question.

Thanks!
       Per
