Re: Office Assistants [was Mailers]



Out-of-office mailers have their place but they do cause problems with mail
lists like this.  Here is my approach:

I use a seperate mail service for receiving mail on mailing lists.
http://www.mailroom.com will allow you to download your mail into any pop3
compatible email client and its free.  You still get the benefit of offline
mail (unlike with Hotmail or Yahoo), your business mailbox isn't loaded
with list mail, AND you don't have to worry about creating havoc when you
have to turn on your out-of-office autoresponder.  Give it a thought!
