I've got a problem that my tech guys can't handle and I'm hoping someone on
the list has an answer for although I'm pretty sure it is a printer
driver/setup related issue.
I have an HP formatted lis file that prints fine when printed from NT but
seems to prematurely "wrap" certain lines when printing from AIX. For
example I have dashed lines above and below a subtotal figure -> the dashed
line above the number is broken when printed with the last 4 dashes being
printed as if it encountered a linefeed BUT the dashed line below the figure
prints fine (same length and column start position). Another example I have
a title in the form of "For the Period Mon-DD-YYYY to Mon-DD-YYYY" that is
centered in the heading -> when printing the report in UNIX the last digit
of the second year gets wrapped.
I've done an octal dump and there are no funny characters present in the
file.
Any ideas.
Thanks in advance.
