I have not tried it yet - but the setting up a RULE with the wizard might
work.

Subject: Office Assistants [was Mailers]
Does anyone have custom Outlook office assistant that sends an out-of-office
message to everyone except SQR-USERS posters? In the past, I have wanted to
turn on the assistant but did not because I didn't want to 'spam' the
handful of people who might post in the week I was away. On the other hand,
neither did I wish to set my list status NOMAIL, because I didn't want to
miss anything.
I am hoping someone has tackled this before and has a solution. I'm not
sure, but I believe a listwide answer to this (if informative and useful)
would not be too far out of bounds for the list. In any case, I'd
appreciate any public or private response you could give me.
I, too, have been momentarily annoyed when I posted and got 3-5 office
assistant replies telling me that some person I didn't know could be reached
at a certain pager number. Then I realized that if I just deleted the
message and moved on with my day, my stress level didn't have to rise at all
and no more of my time would have to be 'wasted'. =)
Thanks!
