Joe...
You can use the MOVE command since it will allow you to use the edit masks that are available in the PRINT command. In your case,
MOVE #pay_units to $pay_units 99,999,999.99pf

Greetings, Group!
I am need to convert a numeric variable so I can put it in a string so I can create a txt file instead of a lis file.
I do the following:
Let $pay_units = to_char(#pay_units )
etc.
and
String $tl_product $tl_cust_name $tl_cust_id $tl_emp_name $pers_ssn $pay_units
$bill_units $net_revenue_amt $pbill_tot_comp_exp $pbill_tot_oth_plcmnt_exp $gr_margin_bef_fees $gr_margin_after_fees by ';' into $print_record
My question is this:
Where can I put an edit mask so $pay_units has a mask of 99,999,999.99pf?
OR, if I'm barking up the wrong tree with this -- how would I accomplish putting numerous currency variables into a txt file?
I've read the chapters in SQR in PeopleSoft (which is great) and in the SQR4 Manual -- but can't see how to put these all together.
Thanks in advance.
Woof.
