Re: Using Graphic vert-line and horz-line to form grid

Hi all,
Although I didnt post the above query, I need to do something similar and
bring the tabular report into msword for editing, I used Chucks code below
which worked great and produced the report as desired in the sqr viewer but
when I bring it into word it loses the graphics and Im left with the bare
text, I tried saving it as html but word couldnt handle the compexity. I
tried a small graphic box as a test with html but it lost that as well.
I've tried using DOS charachter keys ie, alt+191 etc, to draw my table
around the data, ( I edited this particular report in word) but sqr doesnt
seem to like them, I end up with dashes and plus signs instead of the DOS
charachters in my report, which isnt really suitable.
Anybody got any ideas? Im using sqr ver4,

TIA,
Chad.

Hi Wes: Not sure exactly what you are requiring but I'll give you a few
examples I have and see if it helps. If you wanted to print a box with the
words 'Actual Work' inside it I do it like this:

GRAPHIC (+2,1,75) BOX 1 10
PRINT 'Actual Work' (,) CENTER

I am attaching an example section of a report we use that utilized vertical
and
horizontal lines as well.

(See attached file: wes01.txt)

Let me know if I can help.

I'm trying to format a report were the output is displayed in a tabular
format
using vertical and horizontal lines. What is the best way to approach this
? I
am having limited success and hope that someone can point me in the right
direction.
