Using Excel to View a LIS File

Good Morning, Group!

I have a user who needs to view LIS files from an SQR in Excel (politics sometimes rules where logic fails).

However, the number fields in the file (which are fine in the LIS) are "screwy" in that negatives are left justified and large numbers spill into each other.

My question is this -- have any of you folks ever heard of a program or macro that converts LIS output into an Excel spreadsheet?!?
