Printing Images within SQR on MVS

Does anyone know if it is possible to embed graphics images within SQR
reports on the MVS platform?

We have succesfully printed images within SQR reports on Windows NT
with bitmap images.  But we have not yet been able to print images
successfully on MVS.  We are trying to use HPGL images as it doesn't
make sense that  bitmap images would work properly on MVS.

Any insight would be greatly appreciated.
