Format of negative values on report

Greetings Once Again!
I have an sqr that produces the following ouput (the report is large, this is just a
focus on the problem it's giving me):
Gross Margin Total Fee Gross Margin
Pay Bill Net Before Fees Expenses After Fees
Units Units Revenue Amount Amount Amount
0.00 (201.50 (3,795.63) (3,795.63) (189.80) (3,605.83)
2,358.75 2,305.75 24,857.13 5,412.10 2,187.45 3,224.65
The problem is with the value '(201.50' which should be '(201.50)'
All of the fields in the sample above are formated the same:
print #pay_units (0,85) edit 99,999.99pf
print #bill_units (0,95) edit 99,999pf
print #net_rev (0,105) edit 99,999pf
etc.
It doesn't look like column width is the issue --- since '2,305.75' fits in the same
column. Any ideas out there as to the cause?
Much TIA
~~ JEJ ~~ ;{)
