In your workstation, there is a file called 'tnsnames.ora'.  Check out the
server's definition.

According to the SQR Server Error Message Chapter:
(SQR 5528) ORACLE ORLON error -3113 in cursor 0:
Means that the ORLON routine brought the Oracle Error Code 3113 -- the ?in
cursor 0? is not clear.
According to Oracle 7 Server Messages Manual:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
Means ?An unexpected end-of-file was processed on the communication channel?
with possible causes being:
?the shadow-to-task process associated with SQL Net connect has terminated
abnormally? or
?there is a physical failure of the interprocess communication vehicle (that is,
the network or server machine went down?
And, According to SQR again:
(SQR 4701) Can?t logon to the database.
Means ?the connectivity information is either incorrect or the database server
is unavailable.?
Sounds like your Database Server is down or the info you are using to connect to
the server is not correct.
