Date formatting....again!

I know that date formatting has been a much discussed issue lately, but
please bear with me through just one (two?) more....

We have just upgraded from SQR 3.4 to 4.3.2. I have an sqr that must
add thirty days to the current date. Previously, I achieved this by
using the PS delivered datemath.sqc. This sqc requires the date format
to be YYYY-MM-DD before it will do the math function. However, I need
the date to print as MM/DD/YY, so I had used the datetime.sqc to format
the datetime once calculated.

Now that we have upgraded, the SQR returns 12/19/-28
instead of 07/28/99. When I commented out the format-datetime
function, I found that the datemath had occurred, so the error was in
the formatting.

Because this was causing me so many problems, I thought I would try out
the new dateadd function or the datetostr function, but no matter how I
format the date, I get the error message "invalid date argument".

I am at my wits end as to how to get this date formatted so that it
will print in the desired format. Any assistance will be greatly
appreciated!
