Hi all,
I'm wondering if anyone else has written an SQR which accesses
tables from both an Oracle database (Peoplesoft in this case) and
a MS-Access database? At present, we have a Time & Attendance
system that uses MS-Access, and we've created an interface that
creates a flat file out of the Time system, which I subsequently use
to update paysheets in Peoplesoft (via a heavily modified version of
Peoplesoft's PAYUPDT program.) This process is working fine at
present (I know, if it ain't broke, why fix it?), but I'm curious as to
the possibility of having one program that would accomplish the
interface without having to create the flat file. Anyone else done
this? Does the version of MS-Access make a difference as far as
SQL access from SQR is concerned? Thanks for your feedback.
Regards,
Glenn Ackerson
