Re: Image printing
It depends on the OS you are on. The -Printer flag does not work for Windows
95 and SQR v3. It does, however, work for Windows NT 4.0 or SQR v4 with
Windows 95 (at least it's supposed to, going by Nathan's document in SQRUG
archives). At my site, we were required to print a logo from the client's
machine which had Windows 95. We decided to put the logo in a Printer
cartridge and call an escape sequence to print the image. It prints dandy! I
can give you more information about escape sequence later if you'd like
(unless you already know about it). But then, you should print directly to
the printer.
Mail me if you need more info.
Parijat.

Subject: Image printing
I know this type of question is asked alot and I have searched the
archives for an answer but...
is it possible to print a logo without using one of the -printer
flags.
the situation is, one of our customers is using object fax to send
their purchase orders out to vendors. when this runs as part of this the
company logo is placed in the top left hand corner, this works fine when
printed to a printer using the -printer:wp switch, ie print to file c:\temp\
-printer:wp. when the report is ran to a printer, \\servername\printer
<file://\\servername\printer> share name the logo does not print correctly.
can any one help ????
