Hello all,
I've got a problem that appears to be NT related, but I thought I'd post it
here just the same.
We are running a report that is creating thousands of individual files on an
NT Server. Evidently, according to our server and network specialists, each
file creation is creating a separate connection to the NT server and none of
the connections are being released until the completion of the job. This
results in either a dramatic decrease in performance for other people who
are accessing the server, or the server crashes.
Does this sound familiar or possible? Does anyone know of a solution?
This is happening from PeopleSoft's nVision product.
TIA
P.S. I offer my apologies to those who subscribe to ps-users and sqr-users.
