Issue with the SPF Viewer

Sorry if this is a question that comes up a lot -- I looked for a FAQ on the
www site, but didn't see anything.
In ALL of our reports, I seem to see a problem when I use the SPF viewer to
view reports (note that the reports print just FINE, it's just the viewer).
The problem is that the first piece of detail data (below the header and
column headings) gets sent down into the FOOTER of the first page. It seems
to recover fine after the first page, but many of the reports are
one-pagers, so it's important that I can find a way to fix this.
Basically, you see something like this:
page header.... page x...
......
..................
Column Headings Are Here
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
value value value
value2 value value value
value3 value value value
value4 value value value
....
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------
value1 overlapping other text in the footer
more footer text...
As you see from my cheesy example, value1, which should be under the word
"Column" shows up in the footer, and overlaps the text in the footer, making
it unreadable.
Anybody else see this problem? Any ideas?
Thanks for any help you can provide.
