Slightly off-topic: MAXIMO newsgroup proposal.

The voting period for the *creation* of the Usenet newsgroup
comp.soft-sys.cmms has begun.

This voting process will determine if the group should be created, for
worldwide distribution.

To vote, go to news://news.announce.newgroups or open your newsreader and
find the group
news.announce.newgroups. The subject line is "CFV: comp.soft-sys.cmms". Read
it and follow the voting
instructions.

You can also see the CFV here:
http://x30.deja.com/[ST_rn=ps]/getdoc.xp?AN=476474558&CONTEXT=926792323.1861

I cannot vote for you, but I can tell you how to find the CFV post, in order
to cast your own ballot.

My personal suggestion is to vote "yes", as it provides a distributed, open
forum for MAXIMO discussions.
However, my professional and objective opinion is that you decide for
yourself if the newsgroup should be
created. The argument for its creation is included in the Call For Votes
post (CFV).

If you require any assistance in finding the document, feel free to drop me
email.
