Hi Betty,
   You raise a good point... John's stated requirement is to
specifically avoid paying taxes on employee expenses... BUT if he does
in fact have to keep up with legislation the 3rd party software could
still be used... then an extract could be obtained that populates a
custom staging table within PeopleSoft... then the custom year-end
process could populate the appropriate PeopleSoft tables without furthur
data entry... still a 'potentially' easy solution (when analyzed
carefully...
