Upgrade compare report SQR UPGCFLD format problem

Greetings,
  We're in the process of upgrading our HRMS system from version
6.02 (Public Sector) to 7.5 (E & G)  and are trying to run the
compare report (an SQR called UPGCFLD) - to compare objects in
the Peopletools upgrade step. Here's the problem: the report prints
fine on the first page, but then starts developing a major format
problem on subsequent pages and is unusable from that point on.
I've received responses on other listserves from several other users
who had this same problem and they were only able to get the
report to print by selecting a different printer (in both cases,
sending the report to an older laserjet 3.)
  Has anyone else experienced this same problem with the version
7.x compare reports? If so, have any of you found any other work-
arounds? One other suggestion I received was to print the report
from DOS - something we tried, with the same results (I received
this same suggestion from a Peoplesoft analyst.) What's unique
about this report is that it prints graphic lines to separate the
columns, and while they print fine on the first page, they don't print
on subsequent pages and neither does the text. Thanks in advance
