If you press the new button underneath the run recurrence drop down on the
Process Scheduler Request screen you can create a new recurrence.  A screen
with a calendar will pop up and then you can create your recurrence that
runs once per month.  Once the first instance of the process has been run
another will be queued for the time specified by your recurrence definition.

The use of the run recurrence is that a number of processes can use the same
recurrence definition.
