MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE THE SQR.LOG FLAG SET IN BOTH YOUR PROCESS TYPE
AND DEFINITION.

Subject: SQR.LOG
[Sorry for the incomplete message sent earlier.]
We are trying to create a unique .LOG file for each SQR process that is
run in the PeopleSoft Process Scheduler. We think we almost have it,
but not quite. Each process that runs from the Process Scheduler on the
Server creates 2 .LOG files: One is named <filename>_%%instanceID%%.LOG,
the other is SQR.LOG. The problem is that the first LOG file is always
empty, and the output is put into SQR.LOG, that is then overwritten by
the next SQR that runs.
Does anyone now (1) why is this unique LOG file name being created
(which is what we want!), but (2) why is it always empty and SQR.LOG is
still being used?
Any other hints on setting up unique LOG files for each SQR run?
Thanks in advance,
Doug Cottrell
