I'm guessing you are using Windows NT and IP addresses without machine
names to handle your network. The last time I was in an environment like
that, the only way we could find to resolve this is to use a utility called
LPR that happened to come with that environment. They were using Chamelion
software. There were no host names that we could find. Windows software
can print to an IP address, but Windows NT provides no method of
redirecting LPT1 to a network printer based on an IP address, which is what
you need to be able to do to print SQR reports directly to a printer. Or
attach a printer to the machine that runs the sqr and print locally.
