Posting and Paying Vouchers in PeopleSoft

Sorry for posting this here, but it seems that the PeopleSoft group is
having problems as I have not heard anything for some time now.
We are using Financials v7, Oracle 7 and SQR v3.
We have imported approx 150,000 vouchers from an old mainframe system using
an SQR (a partial link to this user group!).  Once in the Voucher tables,
We are trying to post the vouchers before running them through the pay
cycle.
However, when we try to do this, it takes over 12 hours to run the 25,000
EMPLoyee vouchers and then falls over - I fear the worst for the remaining
125,000 SUPPlier records.
Does anyone have any experience of loading this many vouchers and
posting/paying them.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.
