Re: SQR and Windows 98

1 - Look at the Configuration manager under process scheduler one
of the SQR report definitions must point to the directory where
     the allmax file are stored.
2 - Under SQR flags code -m%pssqrX%\allmaxes.max  where X is the
      definition from above
     OR
Hardcode the "-m" and the complete path where the allmax file is
      Example -mc:\temp\allmaxes.max
I have several people running P/S with WIN98

Hi,I installed the HRMS75SU onto my home PC and have tried running the
sqr
pay003.sqr which is the check print procedure. The payrun id that I am
running it for prints 9 checks, when I look at the sqr.log I see that I
repeatedly get this warning message.
(SQR 5521) Warning: LONG datatype truncated; use -Mfile to increase
LONGSPACE.
I get this for each check that is processed. I am using sqrw to run this
procedure, and am using the -M option with the orginal allmaxes.max file
that came on the CD. I have tried adding the LONGSPACE entry to this
file and setting it to the maximum value allowed 32K, but this doesn't
help. I also tried to systematically increase all the values in the
allmaxes.max file up to their maximum value with no luck. I am curious
if I am missing another entry in this file that could cause this
message? I am using all default provided files so I don't think this is
something I could have done.
I called Peoplesoft customer support and they basically said that
Sqribe's SQR product wasn't yet signed off as being Windows98
compatible.  Has anyone else heard of this or had problems because they
have the SQR tools loaded on a PC with Windows 98.  Any fixes or
workarounds known?
