Raj,
These are summarized directions on creating a menu item to run an SQR.
1) Since you are not running this directly from Process Scheduler, I'm
assuming that you want to have a run control panel set up for this SQR
attached to the menu to run this program. If so, create your panel (Panel
Designer for versions 6 and below). I suggest that you clone other run
control panels to help you with your own run control or use PRCSRUNCNTL.
2) Add a menu item to the specific menu/bar (Menu Designer for versions 6
and below).
3) Add a panel group. I see that you have already created one called
STU_PNL_GRP. This sounds like some student panel group or something. I'm
not familiar with Student Admin, so I'm not sure if this is a custom panel
group that you created or if it is a delivered object. One thing I suggest
is that you prefix your objects with some type of identifier so that you
can tell which objects are custom objects and which are delivered
PeopleSoft objects. Some companies use their company abbreviation. Fill
out the appropriate information for the menu.
4) Create your process definition under Process Scheduler->Process
Definitions->Add. Make sure that you use SQR Report. SQR Process is
allowed, but you will get a dialog box when running your SQRs. Make sure
that you put the same Panel Group at the bottom of the Process Definition
panel as is declared in the Menu Item. This is how the process is attached
to the menu/panel.
5) Make sure that you have gone through security... otherwise you may not
be able to see your menu item. Also, you may have to log off of PeopleSoft
and log back on to see your changes.
I hope I didn't leave anything out hehe...
Good luck,

Subject: How to attach SQR report to menu??
Hi all,
I'm new to the list.
I'm right now learning SQR and people tools.
I have created a panel group by name "STU_PNL_GRP" and I would like to
attach my SQR report to one of the menus in this panel. Could somebody
direct me on how I should go about doing this. I know it's got something
to do with process scheduler, but I'm not sure how I should proceed.
Please help me out on this.
Thanks in advance?.
Seasons Greetings
Raj
PS: Sorry if this was an off topic question
