Re: [SQR.INI file]

Hi !!

How are you launching the SQR's ? Are they running from the Process
Scheduler?!!! In case they are, then you need to change the flags in the
Process Definition.... it is picking up the defaults specified in the "Process
Type Definition". Please refer to your Process Scheduler for more info on
this.
Running the bat file is NOT a good idea at all.... what happens if some other
launches an SQR for use within the HR system when you are executing the BAT
file ?!!!! This is not a multi user solution.
The flag that you need to modify in order to tell your SQR to point to a
specific location is :
-ZIF {file}
This file basically sets the full path and name of the SQR initialization
file.

Hope that helps ......... !!
Cheers,
Vishal.

Can anyone tell me when the SQR.INI file gets copied over? We have users
who have access to different PeopleSoft modules, the HR and a home grown
Donation processing module. The problem lies if they are in the HR system, and
then log into the Donation system to run an SQR, the SQR.INI file still points
to
the HR area, so the corrupt message count error appears. The only thing we
can
do now is edit the SQR.INI file for them, or run a batch file to copy over a
new one
to their system. Then if they leave the donation system and go back to HR, and
they
need to run an HR SQR, there has to be another batch file to copy another
SQR.INI file. Is there any other way?

Thanks
