Hi Nicole,
%%OUTPUTDEST%% is a PeopleSoft Internal system variable, called a
"metastring". You don't define it anywhere, it is already in use by the
system. All you have to do is make sure that your path set in the variable is
valid, and you have write permissions to it. If you don't, then the output
will simply NOT be printed.
Open the operator class that is causing the problem (or the Operator ID, in
case it is a single user NOT assigned to a class. If the Operator ID is
assigned to a class, then editing this Operator ID will NOT help, you have to
edit the Operator class) in the Security Administrator, and look for the path
settings for %%OUTPUTDEST%%, I suspect it is not set right.
HTH,
Vishal.

I don't think I am trying to use %outputdest% (at least not intentionally)
Where would I set this? How can I change it, and why does it only happen for
one security class?
The same message appears for output to printer and to file, running from the
client (NT4)
This doesn't happen for any other security classes.
Any other ideas?
