Re: sqr supplied tools

Darnielle,

Did you check in your windows directory (or winnt dir) for the file
sqr.ini. There is a statement that should read something like

[Environment:Common]
SQRDIR=p:\fs750\sqrbinw

Hope this helps,

Mark

Subject: sqr supplied tools

Hello,

I'm having a problem running any of the sqr supplied tools, in particular
sqr viewer. If I try to run an sqr with the -ZIV command flag I get the
following error message: (SQR 14) The required environmental variable
SQRDIR has not been defined. I have also tried running these programs
(i.e.
sqrv.exe, sqrj.exe, etc.) directly and receive the same results.

There was a post a week or so back with the same error message, and I tried
the suggested fixes with no luck. I have tried set statements in my
autoexec.bat and altering my pssqr.ini file. I'm not really sure where
else
to look, I contacted PeopleSoft for support but they drew a blank too. I'm
considering contact SQRIBE directly, unless anyone has any ideas?

SQR v4.2.3

Thanks.
