Phil,

I'm not sure exactly what you're looking for, but I'm
sure that neither SQR nor standard SQL supports "mode"
or "slope" directly.

Mode, as I understand it, is the collection of data
points which occur most often in a population.  For
example, if my sample includes the values ( 1 , 2 , 3
2 , 4 , 2 , and 5), the mode is 2.  It occurs most
often.

I think that in statistics there is a special meaning
for slope which has to do with the slant of the mode
in a set of non-discrete data.

SQR will certainly allow you to perform the calculations
yourself.  You may find arrays particularly useful.

Anyone out there know enough about the statistics to
help explain the calculation?  Does anyone have a pointer
to a good web-page on the topic?
