SQLBASE/SQR problem on attempting to access a table

hi
I have sent this mail before but I have had only one response and that
did not work. I do not have a pssetvar.bat file. Do I need it?
Can someone send me related portions of autoexec.bat or sqr.ini files so
that I can see if anything is missing from my files. Is there something
I need to look for in the registry editor.
My earlier email follows:
To all the SQR pundits:
I have installed SQR version 3.0.13.7 on Windows 95 Desktop with SQLBASE
version 6.x and Intersolv ODBC Drivers comptabile with SQLBASE version.
I am trying to execute the sample program given below. I just give the
-cb option when running SQRW.
begin-report
do sampleProg
end-report
begin-procedure sampleProg
begin-select
emplid(,1)
from ps_personal_data
end-select
end-procedure
The error I get is as follows:
(SQR 5528) ODBC SQL dbSql : SQLPrepare Error 902 in cursor 1:
[INTERSOLV] [ODBC SQLBASE DRIVER] [SQLBASE] 00902 PRS MFC Missing From
clause
Error on line 10 :
(SQR 3716) SQL Stmt
I am able to run the sample program successfully on a different Windows
95 Desktop with the same versions. The only difference I did not do the
installation on this machine.
I feel it is just a configuration issue and I have not properly set some
value. Could one of the gurus tell me what it is that I am missing?
thanx in advance
aruna
