Re: Printing .LIS file from DOS prompt
The main issue is how LPT1 is defined. If you have a local printer, just
copy to LPT1. If not, then you need to make sure LPT1 is directed to a
network printer. In a Novell network, use the CAPTURE command. For
Windows 95 using a Windows based network, you can go to the printers
control panel and set up the Capture Printer Port button from the printer
driver of the printer you want to capture LPT1 to. In Windows NT, you have
to drop to a DOS window and use NET USE. Example:
NET USE \\computername\printername LPT1 /PERSISTENT:YES
Once done, just type
COPY filename.LIS LPT1
