I agree that a *.LIS works for imports to Microsoft products. SQR is set up
for us in such a way that the SPF files get deleted, and we are left with
only the *.LIS file.
        We run a report from a table that holds contact information. This is dumped
into a flatfile that is imported into Microsoft outlook. This saves a lot on
duplicate data entry.
        Your Microsoft product manual should have the information you need to
create the faltfile according to the specifications needed for the import.
Word should import the *.lis file direct.
