Re: French Characters

You may not be doing anything wrong.

Just a thought... the lis generator must convert the ASCII of the _
     character differently than the others.

For the most needed report (or each one), you may need to run a test
sqr to print an ASCII for next loop to each type of report until you
find which CHR() will produce the needed character for each report.

     Hope this helps,

     Rick

Hi again,

I am still having difficulty printing french characters in my reports.

I can get the DOS spool file [biivcpn.lis] to contain the "é" charater when
I view it FROM DOS, but when I send it to the printer, nothing appears where
the é should be. When I look at the same .lis file in Windows, the é
appears as a comma (,).

Any ideas about what I am doing incorrectly?
