Peoplesoft Questions re: DOS Box

This is a PeopleSoft question.   I apologize in advance to
non-PeopleSoft users.

How do I code my SQR so the user sees the black box and then is prompted
to press enter to close?  The PS delivered SQRs work this way and when I
clone them, my customized SQRs work this way - but my created from
scratch SQRs do not and I cannot seem to determine why.  My users want
to see the black box.  I am sure there is a very simple reason.  Any
help would be appreciated!
