Re: Escape sequence for MICR to HP printer (Addendum)

I wanted to add to my previous message about printing the MICR font. We
have found it that the best way to handle the MICR font printing is to burn
the MICR font into a SIMM card. If this solution is chosen, you can also
burn logos and check signatures as well.

This way, you do not have to worry about whether the MICR font is loaded or
not. Also, to access the font and images, you just need to have your
escape sequence sent to a string variable (i.e. $SigFont). When the
font/image is being burnt into the SIMM, you should receive a font
number/image name from the vendor. You will use this in your escape
sequence. Then print it using a simple print/code statement.
print $SigFont (77,86) code

Hope this helps.
