Output Update/Viewing

I have seen some activity through this forum about this topic, but I
thought I would drop my question out here directly.

Has anyone one found a way to be able to manipulate the output of an
sqr?

My client has the need to make minor changes to a report after it is
generated.  We are using PeopleSoft version 5.12 running in a unix
environment.  The work around to date is to provide a panel to be able
to update some of the data fields.  It sure would be nice to be able
to accomplish this with the report directly.

A second question related to that is to be able to give the user the
ability to view the report, specifically a proforma invoice,  instead
of always print.  Since we are generating the report in Unix, I have
yet to find a way to bring (ftp) the .lis, .spf, or postscript to an
NT server.  Please keep in mind that it would be nice to have it user
friendly.
