Bruce,
We hope to let the server SQR's store the output *.lis files on the
server, then use Netscape and a PCL viewer to browse the files
through an intranet connection. Once they are accessible through this
method, they may be printed through the browser to any printer
configured on the PC. Some jobs may be spooled directly to a printer
using the
"/tmp/ +p-dprinter_queue" method with the UNIX prcs_sqr script. We
hope having the browser method will cut down on the need to go to
paper though. This is seen as a simplified solution for a limited set
of participants due to security rules necessary on the UNIX server.
We'll be watching for PeopleSoft's future report distribution to the
web with Actuate.
