Printing checks on self sealing check stock.

Our company has decided that we do not want to be in the envelope stuffing
business, so we are wanting to print our checks on self-sealing check stock.
Has anyone out there had to deal with modifying the check printing SQR to do
this?  We are trying to understand the effort it will take to do so, vs.
using say some remapping software (Optio running around $10,000).  My
intuition tells me, that it should not be a big deal, but that is why I am
posing the question to those of you with real life experience with the check
printing SQR, and specifically this customization.  Thanks in advance for
your insights and help, we really appreciate it!
