Re: SQR in Windows and Unix

FYI -

When ever transferring a file from DOS to UNIX, we use the UNIX utility
DOS2UNIX <file1> <file2>.
This takes care of all those nasty control characters.

Dumb question, but are you making sure the ASCII text of the
source you're
        compiling on
the windows box is the same as the ASCII text of what you're
compiling in
        Unix? Depending
on how you're dealing with the different systems' different ways
of coding
        end-of-lines, could
you be compiling code on the Unix box that didn't get thoroughly
de-DOSed?

        Hi Everyone,
I?m having a problem with the page breaks in my reports. I do
this reports
in SQL Reportmate (Windows 3.11) 3.5 for Sybase on a machine
running
Windows 95. My Reports run fine on Windows, but if I compile the
same SQR
source code in SQR for Unix (HP-UX 10.20), SQR 3.0.18.1, I get
several
blank pages between my informations, my headers don't works and
the
alignement don't exists. I really don?t know what to do.
        Thanks in advance
