Um, last I looked David, it was acceptable to post job ads here, as long as
they were not obnoxious.  However, in my opinion and I believe the
consensus the last time someone combed the archives, was that combing the
archives is NOT acceptable nor does it reach the majority of this list.
Only those who post.  Since I know that the "list owners" post about this
on occasion, I'd leave this issue in their hands.  I just can't stand by
while incorrect information is being sent to the list or I would have
waited until they posted a message in response.

The first part of your sentence was correct in that this is not the time or
place for recruiting.  We are trying to keep this forum for serious
technical questions related to the use of SQR and SQL.  Please refrain
from using this as a recruitment center.

Do not broadcast employment opportunities at this site.

If you wish to send to these users I suggest doing some leg work and
acquiring their addresses from the archives.
