i don't think so. they do start faster, though.

as a matter of course, SQR compiles sourcecode when you run it. so, i
believe running a precompiled SQR only saves the precompile time you
have when running a "normal" program.

someone correct me if i'm wrong...

One person can make a difference...
but most of the time they probably shouldn't
