ORA-1013 -Reply

The Message and Codes manual reads:
ORA-01013 user requested cancel of current operation

Cause:  The user interrupted an Oracle operation by entering
CTRL-C (ControlC) or another cancelling operation. This forces the current
operation to end .  This is an informational message only
Action:  continue with the next operation

Anyone ever gotten an ORA-1013 error? Text supplied is "user requested
cancel of current operation". I'm passing this on for a friend so I
don't have specific details. Any help is appreciated.
