I need to have a program look in a directory and then process all of
the files that it finds in directory, in the order that they were
created. I'm using Workbench 4.0 under NT. So I assumed that I could
use CALL SYSTEM $command $return , where $command = 'DIR c:\temp' .
But, I'm getting the following error: (SQR 3701) Invalid command.
Assuming I can resolve the error message, would this even work? A
directory generally returns multiple filenames - how would that be
loaded into $return. Is there a better / easier way of accomplishing
this? Thanks in advance,

Dunc.
