     Oh sorry,

     I forgot the Begin-Sql and End-sql clauses surrounding the "Alter session"
     statement.

     Also, I just realized "alter session" may only be an Oracle command, and
     not applicable in Sybase.

Barb,

Is Alter Session a new command? We are using version 3.0.7 and
I don't see that command described in our manuals.
