Ray,
I don't know about hpgl's files. However, here at Portland Community College we use both Hp Simm (memory chip in laser printer) and Hp cartridge to store all forms, images and signatures which creating from form designer software (we use Jetform software). Then download into either Hp Simm chip or Hp cartridge on the printer.
