Signatures

I posted a note a few weeks ago looking for some direction on how to
print signatures on checks. I had a few responses but I am still
struggling. We are tring to print the signature as an hpgl file on an
HP5 printer. Also, our check printing program will be running in
batch on a unix server.

So far I have heard that sqr does not accept hpgl files but will
accept hpgl2 files. Can anyone tell be were I can get an hpgl2 file
to test?

Does the image need to be stored on the printer?

If anyone has had success with this or can suggest something please
let me know. What has to be in place for this to work ?
