SQR 2.5 transitioning from IBM AIX to SGI Irix

Hello,

We are currenty working with a company running SQR 2.5 with Oracle on
IBM AIX, they would now like to migrate to an SGI Origin running Irix 6.4.
I would like your help in understanding -

1.  Does any one have any experiences in making such a transition ?
2. What is involved in moving the SQR 2.5 applications from AIX to Irix ? Do
they need to buy something on Irix to enable the application to work ?

I am sorry if I am asking some very basic questions here. Would really
appreciate your response.
